1. The service

Hoop Resume is a free, browser-based NBA trivia game. It includes several game modes (Standard Levels, Collections, Random Player, Challenge, History Quiz, and Got Rings?). You can play as a guest or create a free account to sync your progress across devices.

2. Not affiliated with the NBA

Hoop Resume is a fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Basketball Association (NBA) or any NBA team. All player names, team names, and related trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here for identification and commentary in the context of a trivia game.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time by contacting us via the Contact page.
  • We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to attack it, or violate these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure.
  • Scrape, mass-download, or automate interactions with the site in a way that degrades the service.
  • Submit feedback content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, or contains malware.
  • Use the site to impersonate someone else or misrepresent your identity.

5. User submissions

When you send feedback or difficulty ratings, you grant us a non-exclusive right to use that content to operate, debug, and improve the game. Do not include confidential information in feedback.

6. Donations

Hoop Resume is free. If you choose to support the project through Ko-fi, those payments are voluntary donations handled entirely by Ko-fi under their own terms. Donations do not create any subscription, entitlement, or refund obligation on our side.

7. Intellectual property

The Hoop Resume name, logo, gameplay design, code, and original content are the property of the project's authors. NBA-related names, statistics, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

8. Availability, "as-is" disclaimer

Hoop Resume is in ongoing development ("Beta"). The service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific feature or data will remain available.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hoop Resume and its authors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including any loss of local progress caused by browser storage being cleared.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms as the game evolves. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Hoop Resume uses browser storage to keep you signed in and to save your local progress, settings, and preferences. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
